We are delighted to report that Cornerstone Community Cafe re-opened on Monday 7 September 2020 at 9am.  The new opening days and hours are:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 9am to 1.30pm
Saturday: 9am to 12 noon
Closed on Wednesday

We look forward to welcoming everyone back and hope you like the new look!  We have a revised menu and you might wish to look at it on the website before coming to make the ordering process run more smoothly.

There have had to be some adjustments to the way we work to meet with government guidance and to keep our volunteers and customers safe.  This is a learning process for us all so please be kind!  We now ask all our customers to wear a mask except when sitting at a table.

We need to take a name and a contact number (preferably mobile) for NHS Test and Trace when you come into Cornerstone.  These details will be kept securely and destroyed after 21 days.  If you have a smart phone, you are now able to download the NHS Covid-19 app and on arrival at Cornerstone you can scan our QR code.

Payment:  In order to protect our volunteering friends, all payments are to be made by card or online to avoid the necessity of handling cash.  Exact cash payment will only be accepted if neither of the other options is possible.  We will not be able to give change.

Seating:  Inside we can only seat a maximum of four at a table.  Outside you can sit in a larger group.  All tables must be from one household and/or support bubble.  You must keep socially distant from anyone not in your household or support bubble.  We have provided extra seating outside so bring your big coat if you think you need to sit outside!  Please do not put our volunteers in a difficult position by not abiding by the guidance.  We want Cornerstone to be a safe place for everyone.
